Compassionate - 13th Duchenne Kinabalu Climb 2025

Lets be compassionate ....

We had the honour of guiding 20 members of the Duchenne community during the 13th Duchenne Kinabalu Climb 2025, from 12th to 14th August 2025, to the summit of Mount Kinabalu – the highest peak in Malaysia.

It was truly a rewarding experience to stand in solidarity with those affected by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), showcasing compassion and support for children and underprivileged groups through this meaningful programme. The programme started off with a flag-off ceremony, filled with encouragement and positive energy from participants, organizers, and sponsors. This symbolic beginning set the tone for the climb, uniting everyone with a shared spirit of determination, hope, and compassion

This expedition was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Sabah Parks, Sutera Sanctuary Lodges, Sports Paragon, Prime, Brooks, and Toread, along with the commitment of the Global Expedition Training Club (GEC) and Mr. Ravichandran (Ravi Everest). Their support not only enabled the climb but also strengthened our mission of creating awareness, fostering inclusivity, and inspiring resilience.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our sponsors and partners for making this event a success. With this collaboration, we hope to continue contributing to future initiatives, including the upcoming 14th Duchenne Kinabalu Climb in 2026.

We are also proud to share several newspaper articles that featured this event and highlighted our involvement.
