Mount Brinchang Hike

Introduction

Mount Brinchang Barat is the second highest mountain in the Cameron Highlands after Mount Irau. It is less crowded with visitors due to the difficulty of accessing it, and it is located at an altitude of 2005 meters above sea level, and is a popular destination for hiking lovers, as it has a stunning view of the mossy gardens and orchids. Other flowers are covered in dense rainforest grounds, and the legendary Mossy Forest grows near its high peak.

Itinerary

  • 8.00am – Meeting point at Parking Area near MC Donald.

  • 8.15am - Start trekking to Kg Melayu Trail Head.

  • 8.30am - Registration & Briefing By Guides / Start hiking.

  • 9.30am - Reach Checkpoint Pak Mat

  • 10.15am - We regroup at Malta and continue to push.

  • 11.00am - Reach checkpoint UiTM.

  • 11.45am - We arrive at Brinchang Peak. Have Lunch.

  • 12.45pm - We start to descend.

  • 1.00pm - We reach Simpang Y.

  • 2.30pm - We reach End Point - Kampung Melayu. Departure.
